VOLUNTEER
Volunteer registrations are now open for the 2022 Gold Coast Film Festival!
Our amazing team of volunteers, new and existing, are a dedicated bunch that bring the Gold Coast Film Festival to life each year and deliver a truly enjoyable experience for our audience.
If you have an interest or passion in film, events, cultural festivals or the Arts in general, then we could be the perfect match!
A day in the life of a GCFF ‘vollie’ could look like:
- Setting up and packing down events
- Packing gift bags, preparing lanyards or creating name badges for events
- Meeting and greeting guests of all kinds – cinema goers, students, families, VIPs, panelists and maybe (if you’re lucky) some stars!
- Managing door lists, registrations and check ins for special events or screenings
- Offering technical support
- Transporting guests and VIPs
- Providing information to guests, answering questions or having a chat about the film program
- Capturing special moments for social media
- Ushering
- and whatever else that pops up and requires your brilliant expertise!
Our volunteers will receive:
- Volunteer accreditation – t-shirt and lanyard
- Full festival brief and a health and safety induction
- Access to a wide program of films using complimentary tickets at select times
- End of festival celebrations
- Experience at one of Queensland’s largest (and most fun) film festivals
You’ll need to commit to completing at least two 4-hour shifts across the festival (20 April – 01 May).
We’re looking for people who are flexible, reliable and love making people’s days. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
