The Gold Coast Film Festival is proud to present the highly anticipated launch of Women in Film and Television Australia – a national advocacy body with members in every state and territory. WIFT Australia champions women filmmakers of all ages, colors, sexualities, abilities, and joys. It recognises that we are stronger together.

WIFT AUSTRALIA: A NEW HORIZON

Come join members of Women in Film and Television past and present as we launch WIFT Australia to celebrate the joyous diversity of women’s stories and progress the fight for gender equity.  Panelists will also present WIFT Australia’s national initiatives including Raising Films Australia, Big Screen Sister Mentorship and our role in NOW Australia.  Stay around for drinks and merry-making afterward! For those who are unable attend, this event will also be live-streamed via the WIFT Australia Facebook page.
