Force of Habit
Queensland Premiere | Finland | Drama/Collective Work
Force of Habit is an anthology series and a feature film, all directed by women, that questions gender stereotypes and the way women’s lives are conditioned by society.
A bold work from a collective of female Finnish directors, interweaving six stories of various women throughout one day. This powerful film is made of moments and encounters: a girl on a bus, a work party, dinner at a restaurant, a play rehearsal room. From hassles through to more disturbing encounters, Force of Habit is timely, relevant and hard hitting.
