EMERGE! Student Short Films
EMERGE! is a showcase of short films from some of Queensland’s most recent graduating film students. The event is designed to celebrate the best and brightest film talent from Queensland’s next generation of filmmakers from film schools, universities, and TAFE.

CROSSROAD REDS by William Law – TAFE Coomera
The awards for Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay will be awarded on the night and judged by Gold Coast Film Festival Program Manager Sasha Close and a Screen Queensland representative. The Best Student Short Film Award will receive a $250 cash prize and is presented to the best film at the prestigious Screen Industry Gala Awards on Thursday 15 April at Movie World.
