GCFF - Bringing films to life - 14-25 April 2021 GCFF - Bringing films to life - 14-25 April 2021

Queensland Premiere | New Zealand | Drama

Ross has been a farmer like his father and grandfather before him and hopes to pass on the business to his quiet, well-meaning son. Except son, Bruce, struggles with the particulars of farming and isn’t interested in inheriting the family farm. When tragedy strikes, Bruce must summon all his strength and with the support of his co-worker and several community members, help his father maintain the farm.

The debut feature from Hamish Bennett, expanded from his short film, Ross and Beth, follows the relationship of a father and son on a New Zealand dairy farm.

The gentle charm of this film will linger with audiences fond of quality, arthouse films.
