A sharp and engrossing drama following a talented gymnast who is torn from her homeland and her family.
French writer-director Elie Grappe’s debut feature, Olga uses a unique lens to examine the 2014 Revolution. A 15-year-old gymnast from Ukraine is torn between Switzerland – where she is training for the European Championship in preparation for the Olympics – and Kiev, where her mother works as a journalist, reporting on the revolution. This is a timely drama with superb central performances.
