BETTER WATCH OUT:

Are you a horror fan looking for a festive fix? Christmas has come early with new horror comedy BETTER WATCH OUT – it’s Home Alone with knives! When you think the suburbs, you think safety, but this holiday night the suburbs are anything but safe. Ashley (Olivia DeJonge – M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit, Will, Scare Campaign) thought this babysitting job was going to be an easy night, but the night takes a turn when dangerous intruders break in and terrorise her and the twelve-year-old boy, Luke (Levi Miller – Pan, Jasper Jones, Terra Nova, Red Dog: True Blue), she’s caring for. Ashley defends her charge to the best of her ability only to discover this is no normal home invasion. You may be home, but you’re not alone. “Dangerous, deeply demented and blisteringly smart” – Ain’t It Cool “Perversely un-wholesome” – Variety “If you are a fan of Stephen King’s early writing, this is for you” – Starburst Magazine See it on the big screen at a special preview screening of BETTER WATCH OUT on Monday 11 December, 6.30pm at The Arts Centre Gold Coast Gold Coast Film Festival presents BETTER WATCH OUT with post-screening Q&A with producer Brett Thornquest.
