CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE GOLD COAST FILM FESTIVAL 2020!

Have you put blood, sweat and tears into your feature film, short, webseries or feature film script?

Submissions are now open for the 2020 Gold Coast Film Festival and SIPFest Shorts in Paradise Festival with $20,000+ in cash and prizes up for grabs!

The Gold Coast Film Festival is an AACTA-Award qualifying film festival bringing diverse Australian and International films, filmmakers and film events to the Gold Coast.

Feature films are in for a chance to take home the PKF Best Australian Film Award open to all Australian features, or the Blackmagic Design Best Australian Indie Film Award, with $5,000 in Blackmagic Design camera equipment awarded to an independent Australian feature film.

Shorts from Australia and around the world will compete for $8,000 in cash prizes across seven categories at SIPFest on the sands of Surfers Paradise Beach, including the People’s Choice Award voted for by the audience on the night!

Webseries will compete for the chance to screen at GCFF2020 and take home the Best Australian Webseries ($500 cash) and Best International Webseries.

Gold Coast Film Festival are again accepting feature film scripts from Queensland-based writers with $5,000 cash awarded for the Queensland Screenwriting Award thanks to The Heaton Group plus the chance to participate in a live script read with local actors during the 2020 Gold Coast Film Festival.

Entries are now open through Film Freeway. Regular deadline for submissions is January 5, and late deadline is February 2, 2020.
